Crystal Support for Horses
Crystals may be used within sessions as a gentle, non-invasive way to support relaxation and overall wellbeing.
Within my practice, they are incorporated as part of an integrated approach — introduced where appropriate to help create a more settled, balanced environment for the horse.
A Grounded Approach
Crystals are natural materials, each with their own structure and composition.
Rather than focusing on theory or expectation, their use within sessions is simple and practical — providing an additional layer of calm, steady input that may support the nervous system in settling.
How Crystals Are Used in Sessions
Crystals are selected and introduced thoughtfully, depending on the individual horse and how they are responding.
They may be placed near the body or within the surrounding space, always in a way that feels comfortable and non-intrusive.
Some horses show signs of softening or relaxation, while others simply remain calm and settled within the environment.
As with all approaches, the horse is free to move, engage, or disengage at any time.
When This May Be Supportive
Crystals may be used as part of sessions where a horse is experiencing:
• nervous system sensitivity or stress
• difficulty settling or relaxing
• emotional tension
• environmental or behavioural changes
• general imbalance or restlessness
Part of an Integrated Approach
Crystal work forms part of a wider, integrated approach within sessions.
It is not used in isolation, but introduced alongside other supportive approaches where appropriate, allowing the session to remain flexible and responsive to the individual horse.
