Supporting Dogs Through Nervous System Regulation and Integrated Therapeutic Approaches
I offer one-to-one canine nervous system support sessions across Surrey and surrounding areas, designed to help dogs release tension, settle, and return to a more balanced state.
Rather than focusing on a single technique, sessions take a whole-dog approach — considering physical comfort, emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and the underlying nervous system responses that influence them.
Dogs, like humans, respond continuously to their environment. Stress, change, past experiences, and daily pressures can all influence how the nervous system functions. When the system becomes overloaded or dysregulated, this may show up as anxiety, reactivity, difficulty settling, or changes in behaviour.
By gently supporting the nervous system toward a more regulated state, many dogs begin to feel calmer, more comfortable, and better able to cope with everyday life.
Who This May Help
Nervous system support may be helpful for dogs who:
• struggle with anxiety or reactivity
• show behavioural changes
• find certain environments overwhelming
• carry physical tension
• have difficulty settling or relaxing at home
• are adjusting to new situations or life changes
They can also be helpful in supporting your dog’s ongoing wellbeing and overall balance.
What Happens During a Session
Before your appointment, you’ll complete a short intake form so I can understand your dog’s background, behaviour, and any concerns.
Sessions are adapted to the individual dog and guided by their comfort and responses. A range of gentle, complementary approaches may be used where appropriate.
The aim is not to force change, but to create the conditions for the nervous system to settle and reorganise naturally.
What to Expect
Sessions take place in a quiet, supportive environment at my Ashford, Surrey location, allowing your dog to feel relaxed and at ease throughout.
Building trust is an important part of the process. Some dogs settle quickly, while others take more time — everything unfolds at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
Many dogs show signs of relaxation, such as softening through the body, changes in breathing, resting, or choosing to lie down.
The work is guided through observation and response, allowing your dog to process in a way that feels natural and unforced.
Session Length & Pricing
Sessions start from £65.00, depending on location and travel requirements.
Some dogs benefit from a single session, while others respond best to a short series, allowing the work to build gradually over time.
If you’d like to explore whether this support may be suitable for your dog, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
