Modalities Used Within Sessions
Complementary approaches used to support nervous system regulation and overall wellbeing.
These approaches are integrated within sessions and adapted to the individual animal, allowing the work to remain responsive and appropriate to their needs.
They are not applied as fixed techniques, but introduced where relevant as part of a wider, integrated approach.
Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive approach used to support relaxation and nervous system regulation. Many animals respond by softening, resting, or becoming more settled during sessions.
Infrared Technology
Infrared technology (photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of light to support cellular function and tissue repair. It may be used to support comfort, circulation, and recovery where appropriate.
Sound Therapy
Sound therapy uses carefully selected frequencies and instruments to encourage relaxation and nervous system regulation.
It can be particularly supportive for sensitive animals or those who respond better to non-touch approaches.
Equine Touch® Bodywork
Equine Touch® is a gentle form of bodywork that works with fascia and connective tissues. Using light, precise movements, it supports the release of tension and encourages the body to return towards balance.
Animal Acupressure
Animal acupressure works with traditional meridian points to support circulation, relaxation, and overall balance within the body.
It may be incorporated within sessions depending on the individual animal.
Animal Self Selection
Animal self-selection (applied zoopharmacognosy) allows animals to choose from a range of herbs, botanicals, or essential oils, guided by their natural instincts.
This approach supports the animal’s ability to respond to what their body may need.
Workshops & Training
Some of the approaches used within sessions are also explored through educational workshops and training opportunities.

“Really informative and well presented workshop, could see and feel the positive effects on myself and the horses. Such a lovely modality, you see the results as they happen. Vicky explained everything clearly and with on-going support. ”
